Thirparappu Waterfalls in Kanyakumari district, Tamilnadu I visited this waterfalls when I was in Thuckalay for 1 day ( 7 day solo trip Tamilnadu )  and was looking for something to visit, then someone suggested me for it and it was just some 20 km from Thuckalay.  So I decided to visit it early morning, as few other things were lined up for the remaining day. So next day I woke up at 4:30 AM sharp, and got ready and reached 5:20 AM at Thuckalay Bus stop which was just at 3-4 min walking distance from my hotel. And yes, 1st bus was ready to leave which was going to Thirparapu . I  was so excited as planned things were going well, also I woke up this much early in my history 😁 so it was giving me another great feeling. In some 30 minutes, Bus dropped me at Thirparapu around 6:00 AM and then I walked few meters to reach the waterfalls. I heard some temple music so 1st I went to the temple which was " Thirparapu Mahadevar temple ".  Somehow I felt like it is Kerala s...

Solo trip to Udaipur, Rangeelo Rajasthan

Image
The first city I visited in Rajasthan was Udaipur, and it turned out to be an experience far beyond my expectations. Sometimes, when we go in without expectations, the experience surprises us in the best possible way—that's exactly what happened in Udaipur. I have included links of short videos throughout this blog to offer visual examples 😊 Small video 🎥: Video: Udaipur in a glance I initially planned this trip for 3 days, but I ended up staying 2 days in Udaipur and spent the 3rd day exploring Chittorgarh, which is about 110 km from Udaipur and and also it was on my same return route. During this trip, I covered major sightseeing spots, some offbeat places, cultural shows, authentic food, and even visited a leather journal-making factory, a local village called Raita and Raita Hills, meeting locals who shared stories about their craft and history added a special touch to the trip. Experiences like these expose the true character of a place, making every journey and...

It was 2nd week of Jan 2023. And I been to Srisailam (a pilgrimage town) in Andhra Pradesh, and visited 👇 1 . Mallikarjuna🛕(one of the 12 Jyotirlingas) 2 . Srisailam Peeth (one of the Shakti Peethas) 3 . Pathalganga (Krishna river, perfect for boat riding, good to observe amazing views while sitting on the bank of the Krishna river) 4 . Tribal museum (Chenchu Lakshmi Museum) - which shows houses 🏠, attire, occupation, tools used and lifestyles of different Indian tribes. And also met some amazing people and kids😁 I really liked spending time at Pathalganga, taking a boat ride, and sitting near the water. There are two ways of reaching Pathalganga: 1st is by zipline, and the 2nd is by stairs If you use the stairs to reach this place, you can feel the calmness of this area. As I was walking down the stairs around 2 PM. It was empty stairway, people in their house were relaxing, some were sitting outside of house, some were lying in the cot outside of house and some ...

Travelling  in the villages of South India is an awesome feeling which comes with its own challenges when you are unaware of anything, place, people, and even when you don't understand the language itself or what they are trying to communicate 🤔, and top of that where you don't get good internet connectivity for navigation🌍, and no proper transportation facility🚕 and sometimes you come across some unforeseen situations/challenges also where things are not smooth at first but you adopt the changes👍and learn to deal with this 😎.  Omg, and all  this   boosts the confidence to another level😎, Also the plus point of such trips are you meet such good-hearted people, experience good food, nature and so much more. And recently I visited a few such villages of the  Chettinad region of Tamilnadu in South India which made me really amazed by its rich cultural heritage, Chettinad food 😋, antiques, and true rural life. Take a quick look of the places and my experie...
